ROLLS CHRISTINA JANE. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our dear sister Tina Rolls on October 22nd 2021 at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. Tina was born in 1957 with a chromosomal disorder that made it difficult for her to function alone in society. She spent most of her life in Radstock, lovingly supported by a succession of amazing carers, with frequent visits home to Congresbury to see her Mum, Dad and her many village friends, plus occasional trips overseas to visit with her far flung siblings. In spite of so many medical setbacks, notably a kidney malfunction that required extensive time on dialysis as well as struggles with epilepsy, Tina was always cheerful and humourous, lifting the spirits of those around her. Predeceased by her parents Leslie and Sheila, her sister Shandy and her niece Gemma, Tina leaves behind her brother Jerry and sister Fran, four nieces and four nephews and their eight boys. A celebration of Tina’s life will be held at St. Andrews Church in Congresbury on December 15th at 12.30pm. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to Mencap.
