Members of the Portishead Lawn Tennis Club are hosting an Open Day on Sunday May 5th to attract new players for the start of the 2024 summer season.
The tennis club, which is located on Portishead's Esplanade Road, will be hosting the Open Day from 2-4pm, with all rackets, balls and other equipment provided for any budding new players wanting to attend.
There will be both senior and junior courts set up and available for prospective new players, along with a number of coaches available during the session to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it.
Food and refreshments will also be provided.
Along with the two-hour playing session, Portishead Tennis Club are also offering the chance to win a three month membership to those who attend the Open Day.
The club is also celebrating its centenary this season and in recent years has seen a number of upgrades including new courts, floodlights, and refurbishments to the clubhouse, making it a better time than ever to get involved in the tennis club.
